On the cover: the 14 Ferrari single seaters described in this issue are shown in order from to bottom and from left to right.

Ferrari is the name of the manufacturer that has won more than anyone else in the World driver championship that goes on from 1950 with F1 single seaters, except in 1952 and 1953 when the F2 cars were employed. And exactly in those two years Ferrari got his first two World titles with the driver Alberto Ascari followed by nine more as far as the drivers' title is concerned.

There are also eleven titles since when the F1 Constructor World championship has been recognised (initially called the F1 Constructor Cup) this being the World championship for the car that got the best results in the season and the reward for the car best features such as the speed, roadholding and reliability.

A total of 22 awards in the most prestigious automobile sport specialty that is well know even outside the specialised racing world.

It has been a far reaching way so far 52 years long and bound to continue because it is unthinkable a Ferrari that doesn't race: it has also been a succession of wonderful and sad moments underlined by praise and criticism on the part of the press and the fans, depending how good was the performance of the Maranello "ladies in red".

In this issue of Ferrari Story there is the full description of the technical specifications and racing history of every Ferrari single seater that have had a part in obtaining the World championship titles for drivers and constructors. Both titles were not always obtained in the same year and it must be recalled that the constructor title was assigned from 1958.
