360 Modena Test Drive - You've heard all the great things journalists are saying about the car, as they've driven (and crashed them) for the sake of their readers, but what does a real driver think? We asked Ferrari Endurance Campion Didier Theys to give you the real story. Guess what? He liked it. Interviewed by your correspondent Marc Sonnery. Photographs from Mr. Sonnery as well.
Elegance and Luxury personified - As the Ferrari firm grew, so did its ambitions. There was a market for a high end boulevard cruiser, and Ferrari and Pinin Farina wrestled with the concept. It took a few tries to fit an elegant body on the bones of a Ferrari engine and chassis, but in the end it succeeded. The 342 America Cabriolet, s/n 0248AL, is appreciated by Steven Tillack. Salon photographs by David Gooley.
Superamerica Sunset, part One - They were large, they were grand, they were unique, and built by Ferrari, of course. They were also clothed by Pinin Farina in memorable fashion, of course. What more to say? Quite a bit, as we rest our gaze on the last of the Series III land yachts; the 410 Superamerica, s/n 1495SA. Its history surveyed by Jerry McDermott. Salon photographs in the desert by Mr. McDermott.
Superamerica Sunset, part Two - What really goes through the mind of a designer like Battista Pinin Farina as he formulates a new Ferrari? The best person the answer is another designer. The long time owner of s/n 1495SA was a Vice President of Styling for Chrysler, and his thoughts are perceptive and illuminating. Dave Cummins gives an inside look. Renderings by Mr. Cummins.

Tourist Trophy Timeline - We've always heared stories about Ferrari winning the TT, and seen photos of the sports and GT cars gliding though the Irish and English countryside. But what exactly was the Tourist Trophy? The question has always intrigued Jerry McDermott, and here he gives you his answers. Historical photography from The Klementaski Collection.
Berlinetta Sebring - Ferrari was not content with building the best GT berlinetta on the road and track; they designed an even better car - faster, lighter, more competitive - the SEFAC Hot Rod. We present a look at these rare machines, and one chassis in particular, s/n 2455GT. Brought to you by noted historion Alan Boe. Salon photography from the same Mr. Boe.
Testa Rossa Test Drive - We've covered these cars many times in Cavallino, but never had the chance to drive one in captivity and report back. Now we've gotten a hold of a good chassis, and found some open road to travel. The euphoria is real indeed. Back from the clouds to report is Marc Sonnery. Salon photographs by Mr. Sonnery as well.

A V-12 Dino revived - It started its life as a succesful V-6 Dino, and soon became a succesful V-12 hybrid, only to become a fairly succesful road car, before becoming a succesful vintage racer. Confused? It is a tortuous tale told in truth, but not without some amusement. Investigation and appropriate interview by Marc Sonnery. Salon photography from the self-same Mr. Sonnery.
A long hard Road - This story is equally as involved as above, but this 212/225 was nearly lost for good. It took some care and feeding by one Texas lady to save this gem from extinction. The current owner slowly brings this Vignale bodied coupe through a fine restoration. Examined with appreciation by John Sinkgraven. Salon photography from the actual Mr. Sinkgraven.
360 Modena meditations - We give you a few more details on this far reaching design by Pininfarina. It is completely outside Ferrari traditions, but then, is it time to start another? Will this presage the Ferrari future, or be an interesting but short adventure? Your staff collects some short notes. Salon photography by Andreas Meiniger.

360 Modena presented - The latest rendition of the V-8 series has arrived, and it is a radical departure for Ferrari, in terms of styling and construction. We present the new model in Ferrari's words, from their own press-kit for the car. It expresses their hopes and desires for the millennium. Salon photographs from Hidenobu Tanaka and Keisuke Maeda. Complete specifications included.
The ultimate Test Drive - It can't get much better than this, a drive in the Daytona and Sebring winner of 1998, the Momo 333 SP, s/m 019. Your intrepid correspondent takes to the track at Moroso during the Cavallino Classic, and comes back on a true high. Drive conducted and reported by Marc Sonnery. In flight photographs from Jerry Wyszatycki.
The Racing Prince - For a racing enthusiast, this had to be an ideal life - to have the money and the time to buy Ferraris and go racing, Gaetano Starrabba did just that, in an era when the talented amateur could enter and do well. His racing life recounted by Marcel Massini. Historic photographs from Prince Starrabba.
